Where the idea came from
All me was created by Karl A. L. Smith, whose career spans digital innovation, military technology, financial services, e‑commerce, social media, logistics, and organisational transformation. The concept emerged from a deep dissatisfaction with how mainstream social platforms have evolved—becoming surveillance‑driven, manipulative, and increasingly hostile to genuine human interaction.
The platform is a direct response to “Enshittification”, coined by writer Cory Doctorow to describe how digital platforms degrade over time as they prioritise advertisers, data extraction, and business customers over the people who use them. All me aims to reverse this decline by building a social ecosystem that prioritises privacy, user control, and meaningful interaction from the start.
The Architecture of Privacy-by-Default is not Zero-Trust it is ICCA.
Identity Constructed Communication Architecture (ICCA) presents a structured, privacy‑first framework for how individuals and systems exchange information across digital environments. It defines communication through the lens of identity itself ensuring that every interaction is intentional, contextual, and governed by deterministic rules rather than opaque data flows. ICCA enables platforms to build trust by aligning messages, permissions, and behaviours with the user’s constructed identity state, creating a seamless foundation for secure, human‑centred digital engagement. In summary
Me Social is delivering the design, build, setup, deployment, and ongoing operation of All me a privacy‑first, non-profit social platform designed to respect the complexity of people’s lives, protect their identities, and restore the quality of online interaction. By rejecting surveillance economics, avoiding algorithmic manipulation, and giving users full control over their social presence, we are helping to create a safer, more human alternative to mainstream social media.
