All me

Be a Superhero not a Villain

Me Social, based in Edinburgh, Scotland, is the operating company contracted to design, build, and deliver All me as a new kind of social platform founded on Privacy by Default. Our role is to turn the All me vision into a working Independent Identity Network a system that restores digital freedoms by removing surveillance, profiling, behavioural tracking, and algorithmic manipulation from social interaction. Instead of extracting personal data, we are building a space where people can connect, share, and participate without being monitored or judged.

All me is anchored in Switzerland, benefiting from some of the strongest privacy protections in the world. As the platform operator, Me Social works within a governance model defined by a Swiss non-profit, Swiss hosting, and Swiss constitutional rights to privacy and political neutrality. This legal foundation ensures that the technical and operational work we deliver is protected by strict jurisdictional safeguards:

  • Outside US and EU jurisdiction: Swiss companies cannot share information with foreign authorities without a valid Swiss court order, and doing so carries criminal penalties.
  • Politically neutral: Switzerland’s long‑standing neutrality protects All me from geopolitical pressure and foreign government influence.
  • Strong privacy protections: Swiss law prohibits bulk surveillance and enforces strict limits on data processing, ensuring All me cannot be compelled to engage in mass data collection or monitoring.

Me Social is responsible for implementing All me’s multi‑profile architecture, which reflects the complexity of real social life. Every user begins with an anonymous primary profile using a system‑generated name. We have engineered the ability for users to create a separate friends‑and‑family profile and an optional professional profile for work or business. These profiles are fully isolated, non‑sequential and noncorrelatable, ensuring they cannot be linked together by the platform, by other users, or by external actors. This prevents context collapse and protects users from unwanted exposure across different parts of their lives.

Our development approach reinforces privacy through minimal data storage and a Defence‑by‑Design architecture. All me does not store personal identifiers, financial data, or behavioural profiles. When payments are required, they are processed through a third‑party Swiss banking gateway that only returns a confirmation token never the user’s identity. Even in a worst‑case scenario such as a breach, there is no sensitive personal data to expose because it is never collected.

Me Social is also responsible for implementing All me’s sustainable business model. Unlike mainstream platforms, All me does not rely on advertising or data monetisation. Instead, we are deploying a simple micropayment model with a free first profile and around £3 per month per additional profile, with this lower introductory price at launch ensuring that the platform’s incentives remain aligned with user privacy rather than surveillance‑driven revenue.

As part of the ecosystem build, Me Social is developing interest‑based groups that allow people to connect around shared passions, values, and communities without algorithmic interference. By giving users control over how they present themselves across personal, family, and professional circles, we are delivering a platform that respects the complexity of modern identity and avoids the risks of forced exposure or cross‑profile tracking.

Where the idea came from

All me was created by Karl A. L. Smith, whose career spans digital innovation, military technology, financial services, e‑commerce, social media, logistics, and organisational transformation. The concept emerged from a deep dissatisfaction with how mainstream social platforms have evolved—becoming surveillance‑driven, manipulative, and increasingly hostile to genuine human interaction.

The platform is a direct response to Enshittification, coined by writer Cory Doctorow to describe how digital platforms degrade over time as they prioritise advertisers, data extraction, and business customers over the people who use them. All me aims to reverse this decline by building a social ecosystem that prioritises privacy, user control, and meaningful interaction from the start.

The Architecture of Privacy-by-Default is not Zero-Trust it is ICCA.

Identity Constructed Communication Architecture (ICCA) presents a structured, privacy‑first framework for how individuals and systems exchange information across digital environments. It defines communication through the lens of identity itself ensuring that every interaction is intentional, contextual, and governed by deterministic rules rather than opaque data flows. ICCA enables platforms to build trust by aligning messages, permissions, and behaviours with the user’s constructed identity state, creating a seamless foundation for secure, human‑centred digital engagement. In summary

Me Social is delivering the design, build, setup, deployment, and ongoing operation of All me a privacy‑first, non-profit social platform designed to respect the complexity of people’s lives, protect their identities, and restore the quality of online interaction. By rejecting surveillance economics, avoiding algorithmic manipulation, and giving users full control over their social presence, we are helping to create a safer, more human alternative to mainstream social media.
